This is a difficult time for families and we are hoping to be able to contribute some funding toward their costs.

To be eligible the family would have to provide a copy of their payment for guardianship to their attorney as proof of payment and we would provide funding (amount to be determined by fund raising totals for 2012) to the family/families. Your information will be kept confidential. The number of individuals receiving support will also be determined by fundraising dollars received towards this project AND number of nominations received.

"FAMILIES
IN NEED FUND 2011"
Many families that have an autism diagnosis find themselves searching for answers
to help their loved ones and in doing so run into financial hardships. In 2011 United By Autism allowed famiies
to nominate themselves for some support.
One family that received funding has triplet girls with autism.
We were able to provide them with a GC to Target for each of their 4 children (1 sibling without autism) and Target also rolled
up their sleeves to help!
Another family has a child who was in crisis and needed the support of a
hospital setting out of state. We were able to provide a little support for lodging and gas for the family to make a
trip to visit.
We also provided the Wayne Special Parent's Association with funding to support the many
wonderful workshops, etc that they provide for the families residing in Wayne NJ.

and dedication!
